Near Reykjavik, Iceland, is the Blue Lagoon. A source of geothermal heat for the city, the silica-rich warm-to-hot blue waters of the spa are a welcome respite from cold weather.
Digiteyes is a photographer working out of Toronto, Ontario. She first picked up a 35mm camera in 1987 to understand the analogies that were used in digital rendering of 3D images. An early adopter of digital imaging and Photoshop, Pat's major focus is on still-life images, and trying to capture an old-world painterly feel in her photography. Heavily influenced by Dutch still-life painters, she looks to them and modern artists trained in Academy techniques for inspiration. She is also fascinated by windows (shuttered or otherwise) and doors, and delineation of public vs private spaces.
