Questions and Answers

Q What devices can I make stickers for?

We have a big selection of devices with templates ready to go and are always working on more. Click here to download the templates.

Q Who sets the prices for my skins?

You do. You can price your skins to anything you want. Each skin has a base price that covers, materials, printing, packaging, etc + your markup which equals the selling price.

Q What does it cost me?

Nothing, it's completely free to sell skins on Stickstickbangbang.

Q How does Stickstickbangbang make money?

Each skin has a cost (we call it the base price), which covers materials, printing, packaging, etc. You set the markup to anything you want.
Base price + Markup = Selling price. You get 100% of your markup and the rest helps keep our doors open.

Q How do I know a skin will fit my device?

Every template is carefully designed to fit a device perfectly and still be easy to apply. You can see detailed pictures of all devices and compare them to yours here.

Q How do I apply a skin?

We have written instructions and videos step-by-steps right here.

Q Tell me more about the skin material.

The skin is made from super high-quality, laminated vinyl that applies easily and removes easily. It doesn't leave residue and has a special air release quality that makes it impossible to trap bubbles... so every one looks perfect.

Q Are the skins permanent?

No, you can remove them anytime you want and they won't mess up your gear in any way.

Q Are the stickers reusable?

They're removable but not reusable.

Q How long do they last?

With typical use, your skin will last over a year and probably more.

Q Does applying a skin affect the device's warranty?

No. Since there's no disassembly required and cooling vents are always left open, manufacturer warranties are unaffected.

Q Will the skin damage the finish of my device?

Not at all. There's no effect on the surface, no matter how long the skin stays on. In fact, the surface will look better since the skin protects it!

Q What's the difference between "Artwork" and "Skin"

Think of Artwork as the container for skins. One piece of artwork can be used on multiple devices, so grouping skins under a single piece of artwork helps people find your creation for their device. Deleting a skin does not delete the artwork. Deleting artwork deletes all the skins within it.

Q What currencies and payment methods are available for buying skins?

All prices and transactions are in US dollars and purchases can be made with Visa, MasterCard, or American Express.

Q I ordered some skins... how long until I get them?

We know how it is... when you want stickers, you want stickers! Most skins are printed same day and shipped the next. So depending on where you live, you should receive your stickers in 3-10 business days (5 days is the average). You can track your order on Your Orders page here.

Q I received skins I ordered and they were bent in the mail. What do I do?

No worries, the material we use is wrinkle resistant. When you peel the skin to apply it, just warm it up with a hairdryer and they'll disappear.

Q What's with the long URL?

True, 25 characters isn't exactly short, and it takes up 17.8% of your Twitter space so we have a nice little one...  www.stickyb.com.

Q I don't have my art in digital form. How do I get it on Stickstickbangbang?

The easiest and fastest way is with a scan or photograph, time to call in a favour from a photographer friends perhaps?

Q Do I keep the rights to my artwork?

Absolutely, it’s your creation and it stays that way. When you post on Stickstickbangbang you retain full rights to your work.

Q What if I want to print a skin just for myself but I don’t want it public?

You can set any piece of artwork to "Private" so only you can see and print it yourself.

Q Can I buy my own work and then sell it myself, like at an art event?

Sure, you could do that. We do bulk orders at a discount.

Q What happens if I don't want to sell a skin on the site anymore?

Simply set the artwork you want out of the Shop to "Private". You can still buy it for yourself, it just disappears from the public area. If you change your mind, just set it back to Public anytime. You can also permanently delete the art.

Q Can I change the price of my work?

Whenever you want... it's your work.

Q How do I get paid when someone buys my work?

In order to be paid for your sales, you’ll need a PayPal account. Each month we calculate how much you've earned and deposit it into your account. No minimum sales required.

Q I just sold some skins, but the money's not in my PayPal account. What's the deal?

You have to provide us the email address associated with your PayPal account (you can do this in Your account [link]). If you've already done that you'll see the money in your PayPal account each month, so depending on when the designs were sold, it may be some time before the next payment cycle.
NOTE: We cannot retroactively deposit money into your account for sales made before you linked your PayPal account.
